I checked out 11 rooms at the Manchester Gallery i don`t know what i was expecting, but it definitely surprised me…….definitely worth a visit and my tip ( take something with you that you don`t mind giving away and the more bizarre the better!), it`s only on for a week so put it in your diary. I also went to Picadilly station, (after cream tea at cup), to check out the sound piece there…….the experience of all the station sounds been blocked out was quite surreal, i found my mind wandering and remembering all the memories the station held for me and realised i had memories that spanned fifteen years. I always think stations are beautiful, but it gave me the opportunity to appreciate it even more….
A little something about me…
Salford Skys……
I love Islington Mill…
Victoria Baths……
I have been wanting to go to Victoria Baths for some time as i had heard about the restoration project and a vintage fair there finally prompted me to go. I would highly recommend going to have a look,(unless you have a fear of empty swimming pools,(like my friend), in which case i wouldn`t advise it!) The stained glass is amazing, although wrap up it is really chilly inside.
Inspiring Interiors……
I have to say i love to visit heritage venues……i find looking at wallpaper and interiors always inspires me. I had such a pleasant day at Dunham Massey today so wanted to share with you some inspiration i took from it. My favourite room was the bedroom below…Role on the Spring i can`t wait for more heritage venues to open!
